There's a world (wide web) of resources out there.

Writer's have more resources at their disposal than ever before in history.  Here are just a few of the sites you may find useful this term:

Internet Resources for Writers

#1

This a long (though not exhaustive) list of webpage resources that may be helpful to writers. It is organized into categories like Style, Dictionaries, and Word Stuff.  This is a great, centralized source for a whole host of information and advice.

LCC's Academic Calendar

#2

It's important that you are not only anticipating the daily schedule of assignments in your courses; you must also be aware of important campus-wide dates throughout the term, including days when campus is closed, add/drop deadlines, registration, finals schedules, and so on.

LCC's Tutoring Center

#3

I cannot stress enough how important it is to get as many sets of eyes on your papers as possible.  The tutoring center is free to students; sign up for a thirty minute session to review your paper before turning it in!  Check out the schedule on the tutoring center website.

Moodle

#4

Although we won't be using Moodle extensively in WR095 this term, it is important that you visit our Moodle site periodically to review your progress in the Gradebook, review any announcements posted in the Class Forum, or submit an assignment in the drop box.
